本标准规定了采用β—半乳糖苷酶滤膜荧光法。对生活饮用水中总大肠菌群进行快速定量检验的基本要求以及方法原理、应用范围、仪器设备、培养基和试剂、方法步骤和结果报告要求。
本标准适用于铁路集中式及分散式给水生活饮用水及水源水的快速卫生质量检测。矿泉水等的总大肠菌群检验也可参照本标准。
