【摘要】:Thedodumentcoverrequirementsforelectricallyoperateddamperassemblies,thatareintendedforinstallationintheventorchimneyconnectorofautomaticallyoperatedoil-firedappliancesemployinganatomizingtypeoilburner.Thedamperassemblyisintendedtorestrictorblocktheconnectoropeningwhentheburnerisnotfiring.Theserequirementscoverautomaticventorchimneyconnectordampersforoil-firedapplianceshavingafluegastemperaturenotinexcessof538?C(1000?F),unlessmarkedforalowertemperature.Theventorchimneyconnectordamperscoveredundertheserequirementsarenotforuseonoil-firedappliancesthatemployvaporizingtypeoilburners.AutomaticventorchimneyconnectordampersareintendedforinstallationinaccordancewiththefollowingstandardsoftheNationalFireProtectionAssociation:a)Oil-BurningEquipment,NFPA31.b)Chimneys,Fireplaces,andVents,NFPA211.c)NationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70.Aproductthatcontainsfeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsnewordifferentfromthosecoveredbytherequirementsinthisstandard,andthatinvolvesariskoffireorofelectricshockorinjurytopersonsshallbeevaluatedusingappropriateadditionalcomponentandend-productrequirementstomaintainthelevelofsafetyasoriginallyanticipatedbytheintentofthisstandard.Aproductwhosefeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsconflictwithspecificrequirementsorprovisionsofthisstandarddoesnotcomplywiththisstandard.Revisionofrequirementsshallbeproposedandadoptedinconformancewiththemethodsemployedfordevelopment,revision,andimplementationofthisstandard.
